Delicate and light in color. This wine has a nose of D'Angou pears and toasted nuts; a mid-palate of wet stones and chalky minerality with a finish of light, crisp watermelon.
This Pinot Grigio grew at our Mediterranean Estate Vineyard, planted in 2006.

About Pinot Grigio
Pinot Grigio, also known as Pinot Gris in France, is thought to be a mutation of the highly mutable Pinot Noir Grape. It is a uniquely pinkish grey fruit but can make a light white wine due to the low level of pigment in its skins, or a slightly heavier style if fermented partially on the skins. It is in Italy where a lighter version of Pinot Grigio, like our own rendering, is most common. In Alsace the French often opt for a bolder style.
