50% Sangiovese from Sauber Vineyard, and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon from Harry's Hill Vineyard.
Aged for 21 months in 75% New American Oak and 25% neutral Oak.
This wine is our first showcasing El Dorado's ability to produce super tuscan style wines. From 2017 we produced a bright, fruity strawberry-forward sangiovese which we discovered was a perfect balance with a heavy, tannic cabernet sauvignon we produced from the same vintage.
Perfumed floral aromas with ripe fruit and herbal notes. Ripe fruit flavors with a smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied and approachable.
