2020 Heathen

This will be our first vintage of what will soon become a cult classic here at Mediterranean!

As the name implies it is big, it is bold and it will be your best friend!

“Heathen” is a blend of: Tempranillo 31%, Tannat 24%,Cabernet 23%, Petite Verdot 22%.

 This wine is a deep, dark garnet color in the glass.

The nose is astounding with leather and tobacco prominent and hints of cedar showing after a short spell.

When it hits your tongue with bright Bing Cherry, let it linger for a short period and hints of chocolate start rising.  The bold structured tannins combined with very bright acidity just make you want to take another sip, and another, and another!

The finish is long and lingering, inviting more contemplation…
